4H and 6H-SiC Wafers

2" diameter Si-face n-type and p-type on-axis (0001) and 4 degree off-axis 4H-SiC and 6H-SiC wafers

We are now selling our 4H and 6H-SiC wafers. We make n-type 4H-SiC, n-type and p-type 6H-SiC, and slice it on-axis (0001) and 4 degrees off (0001). Currently we sell 2" wafers. We expect to be selling 100 mm diameter material by September 2011. We sell CMP polished and unpolished wafers and have no restrictions on use of this material unlike other vendors.

Aymont is now selling on-axis and off-axis 4H and 6H-SiC wafer pieces. These are useful if you need a piece of SiC but do not need a whole wafer.

Specifications for non-polar material are located here.
All non-polar material has epi-ready CMP polish on one face.

Silicon Carbide p-n Junction Photodiodes

Aymont is developing and plans to start selling silicon carbide photodiodes. Their exceptionally low dark current, high quantum efficiency at 280 nm, and ability to withstand high temperatures make them an excellent choice for low-level UV light detection.

Silicon Carbide Avalanche Photodiodes

Aymont is developing silicon carbide avalanche photodiodes for extreme sensitivity to UV light, with the goal of replacing photomultiplier tubes. Applications include UV imaging in space and satellite applications, environmental monitoring, UV lithography, surface inspection, biological analysis, and flame sensing/imaging.
