Silicon Carbide Crystal Growth System with Process Technology
Aymont manufactures and sells equipment for silicon carbide crystal growth, as well as CVD source material (powder) which is used mainly in silicon carbide crystal growth. We were founded in 2006 and are currently #2 worldwide in both silicon carbide crystal growth equipment and source material.
Silicon carbide is called a third-generation semiconductor. Silicon carbide semiconductors are used in electric cars, solar power, and service power supplies used to store vast amounts of data, light emitting diodes, and sensor applications. These markets at present are combined over 1 billion USD annual revenue, and they are growing 40-50% year over year. This equipment makes the starting material used in these applications.
We sell and support our equipment, source material, and processes with customers throughout the world. These customers are located in America, mainland China, Taiwan, South Korea, Europe, and India. In this way we are helping to drive the adoption of SiC in next-generation power electronics. We also sell components used in our furnaces as an additional, profitable revenue stream. The big difference between Aymont and other furnace suppliers is our strenght in the crystal growth process. Aymont began developing its physical vapor transport process for SiC in 2007. We have our IP and technology that is unique and highly refined. We offer a process better than current state-of-art in Taiwan, mainland China, or South Korea.
